🌐Breakfast Lovers

The name says it all: if you love breakfast, this is the place for you.

Everything at this Lisbon brunch restaurant is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.

The spaces themselves cozy, welcoming, and comfortable. The menu has something for everyone, and small portions are available for many options, so you can create your own meal.

The Alfama location is a bit tucked away, offers some outdoor seating, and is generally less crowded. If you are looking for the best brunch in Alfama, this is it.

Highly recommend the benedicts and toasts.

Reservations recommended for the Misericórdia location.

🌐Manifest Lisbon

My first visit to Manifest was a fail, as I planned to do a little work and they are not laptop friendly, so I opted for another cafe.

But, this ended up being a blessing in disguise, because I ended up going back with friends a few days later and we ordered 5 entrees to share, so I was able to taste half the menu of this top Lisbon brunch restaurant.

EVERY SINGLE THING was amazing.

Everything we ordered, from sweet to savory and everything in between, was delicious.

You know when 5 women at brunch go silent, the food is good-good, and we were silent.

⭐Our collective favorites: Duck confit benedict and chicken & waffles.

🌐Heim Cafe

Four Words: Biscoff Crusted French Toast.

I bookmarked Heim Cafe as a “must try Lisbon brunch” a over a year ago and finally made it recently for a birthday brunch with a new friend. It was the perfect place to enjoy a great meal in a cute atmosphere with an eclectic crowd. The French toast was incredible, and my friend’s brunch plate was beautiful. I cannot wait to get back and try more of the impressive menu.

Reservations are not accepted at this favorite Lisbon brunch restaurant, and the wait can be lengthy, but it is absolutely worth it.

🌐Canto

A bit off the beaten path, Canto is well worth the trek for the fresh and delicious brunch in Lisbon. The restaurant is a simple and cozy space, and the menu features both unique and classic dishes, as well as some of the best vegan and vegetarian brunch options in Lisbon.

The pancakes were some of the best I have had in Lisbon and the baked eggs were flavorful and so satisfying. The lunch menu looks just as enticing as the breakfast menu.

While a bit outside the city center, the location offers the added bonus of not being packed with tourists and not having to wait in a long line (like some of the overhyped brunch spots in the city center).

🌐Neighbourhood

This central Lisbon brunch spot not only offers a great casual brunch (and lunch and dinner) menu, it also offers exceptional people watching.

You will be hard pressed to find Lisbon locals here, but you will find an eclectic mix of tourists, travelers and expats. It has a very “come as you are” vibe with friendly and accommodating staff, indoor, outdoor, and window seating, and a menu with a bit of everything.

Reservations are not accepted, and this top Lisbon brunch place gets busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. It’s worth it though, I promise.
